ObasekiChange
Lenita Dunlap, MPA, MA, is a Contributing Ally and Advisor to ObasekiChange.
Lenita has more than 20 years of service working in educational and nonprofit organizations that uplift and empower young people and their families. Her work has included particular attention to underserved populations like refugee children, immigrants, and ethnic minorities, such that she has spoken to leaders around the world about how to provide wraparound mental health services in an Afterschool space. She specializes in working teams through crisis and lifting their awareness among various stakeholders. As a Fundraising, Community Development, and Mental Health expert, Lenita combines research, policy, and expertise to counsel, create and craft messaging and work that centers around equity and inclusion based in story-telling, reshaping false narratives and empowering all stakeholders. Currently, a PhD student and a nonprofit executive coach and consultant, Lenita’s research focuses on the burnout of nonprofit professionals to inspire leaders to SLOW DOWN, BREATHE AND CELEBRATE.
