Gail Obaseki is co-founder and President of ObasekiChange.

From her childhood experiences growing up in a segregated East Texas town, to her being a member of the first class to integrate her hometown schools, to her radicalized college years at East Texas State University and University of Houston, Gail’s history was one filled with civil unrest, protests and getting into “good trouble.” Because of her background, Gail has always been an advocate for this nation’s marginalized people, BIPOC, women and the LGBTQ community to have a seat at the table and for their voices to be heard. From journalism to advertising, and now on to the global stage, Gail’s ongoing passion for diversity and inclusion is continued with the launch of ObasekiChange.

As President, Gail brings to the company her many years of experience in advertising agency leadership which focuses on people, processes and excellence in execution.

Gail’s unique leadership skills were employed in various roles during her 24-year tenure with TracyLocke, a leading Southwest advertising agency, headquartered in Dallas, with offices in Chicago, Wilton, CT and New York City.

As director of employee onboarding and training, Gail was laser-focused on diversity and inclusion while developing agency talent. As director of project management, Gail pioneered the use of best-in-class technology-driven processes, business services and solutions. She provided employee training on how to fully utilize these new technologies, teaching employees how to approach workflow in a more efficient way. In her role as director of production services, Gail led print and experiential execution teams across all four offices in providing outstanding client solutions that drove profitable revenue growth through flawless executions of client requests.

Gail’s love for the people, her training techniques, and her passion for the advertising industry have impacted the careers of hundreds of account executives throughout the Southwest.
